TRICK OR TREAT OFF THE STREET AT THE WILDLIFE EXPERIENCE
Thursday, October 31st, 2002 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.
DENVER- August 29, 2002- Colorado's newest cultural attraction, The Wildlife Experience Museum will host, "Trick-or-Treat OFF the Street," a safe and fun celebration featuring costume parades, pumpkin decorating, candy stations - and ghoulish surprises. The museum invites visitors of all ages to experience these ghastly festivities on Halloween from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The Halloween party will feature a variety of activities for children of all ages. These include scary story telling in the witches cave, creepy crawly crafts, and slimy surprises in Frankenstein's Laboratory. Candy booths will line the museum's atrium, great hall, and giant-screen theater, allowing guests to fill up their bags with candy and spooky toys.
Many of the museum's unique galleries will also be open for visitors to stroll through as they wind their way through "Trick-or-Treat OFF the Street." So after they stop in our chilling cemetery, they might enjoy stopping in our Children's Gallery to play one of our interactive wildlife video games. They may choose to wind their way through the Vanishing Africa Gallery.
Admission is free for children 4 and under, $2 for children ( ages 5-12 ), and $4 for adults. Admission includes a trick-or-treat bag, entrance to all exhibits and participation in all activities. The museum is located at 10035 South Peoria St., Parker, Colorado, one mile east of I-25 at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and South Peoria Street. A full-service café with special Halloween treats and a gift shop are also available to all visitors.
One of the primary goals of The Wildlife Experience is to instill a love and respect of all things wild through education and example, and inspire those who visit the museum and it's unique galleries to become involved in conservation efforts.
