Press Release

It’s a Summer Gone Wild at The Wildlife Experience

DENVER - June 8, 2005 - The Wildlife Experience is offering something wild for kids this summer with the Summer Gone Wild promotion, beginning July 1st.

Don’t run out of things to do this summer and don’t let the dog days of summer get you down, because it’s a Summer Gone Wild at The Wildlife Experience, where children ages 12 and younger will receive free museum admission, with an accompanying adult, during the months of July and August, 2005. This offer is valid during regular daytime admission hours only and does not apply to iWERKS Theater screenings.

The Wildlife Experience is a child and family-oriented museum in Parker that focuses on promoting a realistic understanding of wildlife and the natural world. The museum houses a 315-seat iWERKS large-format theater that is currently screening The Living Sea and Roar: Lions of the Kalahari.

Kids can enjoy the following exhibits this summer during Summer Gone Wild: LEGO: Ocean Adventure, a hands-on exhibit comprised of LEGOS™ that offers children a chance to explore the ocean depths with imaginative LEGO props, and America’s Wildest Places, which documents the 100-year history of the National Wildlife Refuge System that was initiated in 1903 by President Theodore Roosevelt.

Summer Gone Wild begins July 1 and ends August 31, 2005. For more information on The Wildlife Experience, current exhibits and iWERKS films, visit thewildlifeexperience.org or call (720) 488-3300.

The Wildlife Experience thanks FirstBank for making Summer Gone Wild possible.
