Who: Open to general public - free with paid admission About Project InSECT Project InSECT by Jessa and James Huebing-Reitinger is a national hit, pairing visual and performance art with science to create an interactive and one-of-a-kind exhibition. Hosted by science museums, zoos, and art museums, and supported by entomologists and their research, the Project educates the public about the science of entomology using live performance art. Artist Jessa Huebing-Reitinger paints larger-than-life bugs live before of her audiences, while James Huebing-Reitinger further educates visitors with skits, stories, lectures and even insect tattoo painting. About the Butterfly Pavilion The Butterfly Pavilion is a Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD) funded organization. Our mission is to foster an appreciation of butterflies and other invertebrates while educating the public about the need for conservation of threatened habitats in the tropics and around the world.
