Membership Benefits More Than The Wildlife Experience

DENVER - January 24, 2007 - The Wildlife Experience, an educational and entertaining museum in south Denver, and its mission to instill respect for habitat and wildlife and inspire efforts to conserve for generations to come through educational, interactive and entertaining experiences, has had strong support from its membership base in its four-and-a-half years of operation.

The Wildlife Experience is anticipating growth and continued membership support of the museum in 2007. However, new memberships will benefit more than the museum. FirstBank Inc., has made a generous donation to The Wildlife Experience and has recently designated that a significant portion of its contribution goes to sponsored memberships. This allows The Wildlife Experience to donate memberships to organizations and individuals in need and who would otherwise not have the opportunity to become members of The Wildlife Experience when new memberships are purchased. The first organization to receive these memberships will be The Women's Crisis & Family Outreach Center in Douglas County. Other organizations that are eligible to receive these benefits are Denver Kids, Inc and Colorado Youth at Risk.

Membership sales at The Wildlife Experience grew by 43% in 2006, which raised the museum’s membership base to 1,535 total memberships. Combined with expected membership growth in 2007 and the generous support of FirstBank, Inc, The Wildlife Experience will be able to offer these sponsored memberships to large number of people and is proud to be able to offer this great benefit to the Denver community.

The museum offers a variety of membership levels - from Individual to Family levels - that include an impressive array of benefits. Each level of membership includes admission to the museum for one year, guest passes, discounts in the BOAtique Gift Shop and the Toucan Café, discounted prices to events and reduced rates on classes, lectures and programs.

For the month of February, The Wildlife Experience will be offering chocolate boxes filled with assorted chocolates as an incentive to buy a Dual membership. It is a wonderful gift for your Valentine, and you can immediately take advantage of your membership with discounted tickets to our February 8 Movie and a Martini event featuring When Harry Met Sally and provide The Wildlife Experience the opportunity to donate a membership to someone in need.
