DENVER - July 18, 2007 - The Wildlife Experience is getting a little wilder on August 7. Jim Fowler, co-host of the original Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, along with some of his animal friends, will make an appearance at the museum in Parker, Colorado.

Fowler will talk with individuals about what they can do to protect the natural world and the animals that share it with us. A kangaroo, anaconda, alligator, fennec fox, Madagascar hissing cockroaches and several birds of prey will help him deliver his message. Fowler will be at The Wildlife Experience on Tuesday, August 7 to give a presentation from 2:00-3:00 p.m., followed by a meet-and-greet from 3:00-4:00 p.m. This appearance is open to the public (regular admission charges do apply).

Jim Fowler, one of the world's best known naturalists, has presented information about wildlife and wilderness to the American public on television for more than 40 years. He first served with Marlin Perkins as co-host and later became host of Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, and also hosted Mutual of Omaha's Spirit of Adventure. Those programs received many awards including four Emmys and an endorsement by the National PTA for family viewing. In addition to ongoing appearances on many network talk shows, Fowler has been the wildlife correspondent for NBC's Today Show since 1988 and he was a regular on the Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Jim Fowler's visit is made possible by the Cronkhite Wealth Strategies and Lacy Cronkhite. Mutual of Omaha, founded in 1909, has a long-standing commitment to conservation. That legacy, which began in 1963 with Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, continues strong today.
