Four robotic animals, including the great Woolly Mammoth, will call The Wildlife Experience home during Wild & Woolly: Ice Age Mammals. This interactive exhibit tells the story of the last Ice Age that ended 10,000 years ago with the help of the stars of the exhibit: a Saber-Toothed Cat, a Giant Ground Sloth and her baby, an armored Glyptodont and a Woolly Mammoth. Visitors will encounter these prehistoric animals, which once roamed the plains of North America, as well as explore this climatic phenomenon further with a glacier simulation display, rare fossil casts, and numerous interactive games.
